KUDOS
Eligibility Requirements:
- 
Female student in grades 9-12 
- 
Maintain at least a "C" GPA 
- 
Demonstrate good character 
- 
Volunteer in community service, youth groups, civic organizations, tutoring sessions, intergenerational services, mentor younger children and other service-oriented activities. 
Membership Intake Period
The Membership Intake Period constitutes the time when prospective KUDOS complete the period of orientation to the organization. During this phase, candidates study a variety of materials designed to acquaint them with the organization and to increase their knowledge and skills during a five week or longer instructional period (usually between August and October.) A significant part of this period is the participation of the prospective KUDOS in a worthwhile community or volunteer project.
Membership Responsibilities​
Once a candidate is inducted into the KUDOS, she must pledge to be an active participant in KUDOS activities including but not limited to:
- 
attend regular meetings and actively participate in programs 
- 
payment of dues and financial obligations 
- 
attend conferences 
- 
continue to demonstrate exemplary academic achievement and good moral character 
- 
willingness to become mentor younger students
